Donna and her husband Terry relocated from central California to North Idaho in March 1997, and she never takes for granted the wonderful North Idaho lifestyle she enjoys with Terry and their Alaskan Malamute Kody. After 8 1/2 years as a real estate agent and associate broker, Donna opened her own real estate office in Bonners Ferry, Selkirk Mountain Real Estate. Donna's goal is to continue bringing outstanding service and commitment to her clients and customers, and to take real estate to new heights in North Idaho.
My grandparents fell in love with this area all the way back in 1937, so as my parents before me, I was raised in Boundary County. I moved away to complete my education as a young adult, but quickly realized Bonners Ferry was the best place in the world to live. After experiencing the fast paced life of the big city, I returned to Bonners Ferry to start a family of my own. Now, 20 years and three children later, whether you are looking to buy, sell or relocate, my knowledge of the area, community and people of Bonners Ferry (voted the "friendliest town in Idaho") will help you find just what you are looking for. I feel very fortunate to live in this beautiful place I call home, and look forward to helping you make it your home too!
After traveling excessively, I have found that Bonners Ferry was the answer to my dreams. Bonners Ferry had all the elements to make this my final place which I will retire in. Bonners Ferry has everything here that I could ever expect and more.
Widowed in 2000 with 7 children and 10 grandchildren I remaried a very special man Andrew Eckberg,a Forester at Riley Creek.
My passions are: My Love for God, Family, Friends, Hydro Boat racing, trophy fishing, Pool (which I am the top female shooter 4 years straight) Photography and enjoying the beauty that surrounds us.
Being the Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce, I have a wonderful opportunity to work hand in hand with some wonderful people in our business community to help in a networking that will help Bonners Ferry be a stronger and more unified community. Prior to earning my Real Estate license, I started as manager for Selkirk Mountain Real Estate. So while I have the benefit of considerable experience dealing with the workings of a Real Estate office and coordinating client transactaions, I also have the pleasure of working as assistant for my Broker Donna Capurso.
My family and I moved to North Idaho in 1998. The experience here has been unbelievable and we have never been happier. Before we moved north, our family vacations took hours to get to. In North Idaho, you have it all, right in your back yard. Skiing, fishing, canoeing, hiking, horse back riding, camping, snowmobiling...the list goes on. The best part of North Idaho is your possiblities are endless.
